Iran Strikes Gulf Neighbours with Missile, Drones Amid Trump Warnings
Israel and the United States conducted further air strikes, including one that ignited fires at a Tehran airport, yet Iran demonstrated its ability to respond militarily.
Air raid alerts and explosions were reported in Jerusalem and Doha, while the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain were hit in two separate waves—once in the morning and again in the afternoon. The UAE stated that its air defences intercepted 15 missiles and 119 drones Saturday morning. Footage showed one projectile striking Dubai Airport, the world’s busiest international hub, with explosions occurring near parked planes and a passing train.
“Evidence from Iran's armed forces shows that the geography of some countries in the region is openly and covertly at the disposal of the enemy,” said Gholamhossein Mohseni Ejei, Iran’s judiciary chief. “The heavy attacks on these targets will continue.”
Earlier, President Masoud Pezeshkian issued an apology to neighboring nations hosting major US military bases, while reports indicated that Russia might be supplying Iran with targeting intelligence.
Saudi Arabia reported intercepting a missile aimed at a US-manned airbase, and Jordan accused Iran of “targeting vital installations” within its borders over the past week.
