Drone Incident Near Dubai Airport Causes Injuries

(MENAFN) Two unmanned aerial vehicles fell close to Dubai International Airport (DXB) on Wednesday, injuring four individuals, according to the Dubai Media Office.

The office clarified that the mishap resulted in minor injuries for two Ghanaian nationals and one Bangladeshi national, while an Indian national suffered moderate injuries.

Despite the incident, air traffic at Dubai International Airport "continues to operate as normal," the office added.

Tensions in the region have escalated following a joint operation by Israel and the US against Iran, which reportedly killed over 1,200 people, including then-Supreme Leader "Ayatollah Ali Khamenei."

In response, Iran launched drone and missile attacks targeting Israel, Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf nations that host US military installations.
